Mulletover

By Ellie Stephens

Music. Atmosphere. Lighting. What more do you need for a successful party? How about a massive car park in the heart of Shoreditch, throw in a few thousand people, a few super DJs and what you get is a Mulletover party. Recently celebrating 5 years of Mobilee with a massive blow out in Hearn Street car park with the one and only Anja Schneider, Sebo K, Rodriguez Jr. and the master behind the night, Geddes.

At 5am as the party was coming to an end, the soulful voice of Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On echoed around the room and the daylight coming through the roof sent a warm glow over the euphoric crowd of partygoers. It’s been a while since London has seen such a party and many people were overwhelmed and claimed the night was their best night of the year so far.

This year Mulletover celebrated their 6th Birthday.  Continuing to push boundaries in terms of music, Mulletover offer new local talent a chance to shine, which is exactly what we aim to do at Concrete. One of the last remaining underground parties that have a massive following making their events unique in momentum and spirit.

Their next event will be at the Garden Festival in Croatia this July and once again, Geddes will be joined by a fellow Londoner, Jamie Jones to party in the sunshine. You can also catch Mulletover by the canal on 31st July and they usually round off the summer with a bank holiday soiree at the end of August. With the sad news that T Bar is no longer with us and Fabric is clutching at straws, get yourself to Mulletover this summer. The best party in London. Fact.
